Rear A/C / Climate Control with Remote Start

Anyone figured out a way to make the Rear A/C startup when you remote start?

I've tried everything I can think of and can only get the front A/C to fire up when remote starting.

Look under 3-8 and 5-53 for the seats. I didn't see anything about the rear AC.

Clearly the back A/C will not come on with remote start, which seems like a huge oversight to me.
As for the seats, the manual indicates that when they come on the indicator lights will not come on, AND that the seats will turn off once the ignition is pushed. I wonder if people's seats are cooling but we don't realize it since they're turning off almost as soon as we sit down (and press the ignition)...

I don't use my vehicle every day so others will probably be better able to confirm whether the cooling seats are really working with remote start.

After seeing this thread, I went and check if this works on my 07, and it does. My rear AC comes on with factory remote start.

I have the front AC set to 75° in auto and I also have the rear set to be controlled from the front....

I agree this is annoying! The seats do not come on even though there is a menu option for it... I've checked.

I'm pretty sure our rear AC kicked on last night with a remote start. I'll have to verify. I know I have the rear AC set to automatic 75
