Hey everyone, first post here. I've just bought a new to me 2007 Tahoe LTZ. I've already gotten a lot of questions answered through this forum, so many thanks to everyone who's posted. Some things may seem trivial, but to new owners and people just searching the net, the information sometimes proves invaluable.
I've come across an issue that I can't seem to find any information on through searches (both internet and this forum, not enough letters in the words to produce decent results).
Just noticed tonight that my rear a/c will only blow HOT air, no matter what the temperature is set to. Cycling the controls through the hot and cold settings makes no difference. Having the a/c (snowflake) button turned on up front makes no difference.
I've run across a similar issue before in a previous vehicle which ended up being a blend door issue; however, I have no idea how the rear a/c is set up in these vehicles. What is the culprit most likely to be? Are there any other trouble shooting items I should try to diagnose the problem? What would it entail to fix this problem?
Any help would be most appreciated, as I'm sure that my rear passengers would appreciate the cold air when the heat of summer rolls back around here in the southeast. Thanks.
