Rear brake light/signal not working...

This feels like a stupid ass question, but my right rear brake light/signal went out yesterday. I go and pick up some new bulbs, thinking that was the problem, but it wasn't. The bulbs in there look fine, but I replaced them anyway, still nothing. The fuses are good and when I turn my head lights on, the tail lights come on too, but no brake or turn. The front signal works and its got that rapid blinker going on. I know its probably something easy, can anyone help me out?:

Pass? Driver's? When you replaced the bulbs you had to remove that black piece or white piece to stick the bulbs in...thats the piece you need to replace. Notorious for going bad. Ebay is where I found the cheapest!
