rear brakes

I have a 2002 yukon and the rear calipers on both sides numerous times now have had the pistons blow out of the caliper leaving me with no brakes...I have changed the pads calipers and rotors all new...any suggestions would be great..thank you in advance

WoW! That IS strange! You've totally replaced all the components in the rear???

i just woke up so bare with me lol but i remember my dad having this problem on one of our old subarus years back and it was the proportioning valve is i remember correctly... have u been doing any hard braking due to people gettin b-slapped by the stupid fairy? i know our yukons have had problems with the abs pumps too... not sure if this would help but could give u an idea of some place u could start lookin... and do both sides on the rear blow at the same time?

only one side goes at a time...and as for the hard braking nothing out of the ordinary..just normal use....I'm going to tear everything apart again tonight I'll let ya know what I find out...not very happy...considering it could have been my wife and girls in the truck when they went out

Yeah, brake problems are no joke! Check for any vaccum/booster issues while you're at it!

i hope its just under ur nose man waitin to be found on this go around..... ive totalled a vehicle once from brake problems..... but i promise u this.. Dont call it a POS!!!!! i learned cars have feelings and they have ears lol... thats what happened to me... called my subaru a piece and bam 3 hours later brakes went out... just call her a ****** and she will love u forever.. lol...

Are you using GM parts??? I know that cheap after market stuff generally does not work that well. I have used aftermarket brake pads and had nothing but issues on the rear of my 02. I have changed them out to actual GM parts from the dealer and it has stopped.
