I am trying to get the rear differential outer pinion bearing out but I can not even budge it. Is there a special tool that I need to get it out. Don't seem like there is room for some of the bearing pullers I have seen.
Thanks

I think you need the pinion out, then a slide hammer with the jaws set inside.

Remove locking pin then axles. Remove diff but do not mix up diff shims. Drive pinion out with nut on end of pinion. Drive outer race out then drive new race in ,place outer bearing in housing, seal then replace crush sleeve and pinion nut. Set pinion preload and torque cap bolts.
