Don't know whats behind your dash or under your seat but this is what i found in my 96 tahoe. Hope its of some use.

To/From head unit:

FRONT DOORS: (Speaker and Tweeter)
LF-: Grey
LF+: Tan
RF-: Dark Green
RF+: Light Green

REAR ROOF: (these wires go to the speakers and also act as INPUTS for the amp)
RR-: Light Blue
RR+: Dark Blue
LR-: Yellow
LR+: Brown

Ground: Black

Display Dim : Purple/White (linked to interior lights dimmer)

Fuse Out: Grey

Amp Feed: Pink (runs to a relay. see below for more on this)

Fuse Out: Yellow (fuse 17 10A)

Battery: Orange (fuse 19 10A)

To/From Amp:

(the following wires are INPUTS/SOURCE for an amp)
RR-: Light Blue
RR+: Dark Blue
LR-: Yellow
LR+: Brown

(the following wires are all OUTPUTS which only feed the rear doors)
RR Door+: Red
RR Door-: Tan
LR Door+: Tan (this is not a typo; there are two tans but it's obvious which is which)
LR Door-: White

Relay Signal: Orange (this is your remote/trigger/accessory. it turns the amp on!)

Ground: Black (probably ignore this and connect your amp ground to a seat bolt)

There are so many opinions and plenty of different wire colour charts out there to aid you through installing your own system. If I'd have had this COMPLETE list it would have saved me heaps of trouble and hours of research. Hope it's right for your set up.

By the way... Don't look for a normal sized amp under the drivers seat. It's a small silver box that looks as though it's part of the seat mech. It literally pulls out.

There was a thread on this not too long ago and also, when I got my new deck from Crutchfield it came with an extra instructions sheet for making the back doors work. If you have the standard stereo, you still have an amp under the driver seat. With the new deck all you need to do is tap into the power ant wire and in your original harness you will have to find the power wire that feeds the amp. 1 vampire clip and your done.

Now if you have the BOSE system....sorry, cant help ya there. :(

Update.....
What I found was that you will need to hook up the blue/white power ant wire to the blue wire in the original harness. This "should" be the power wire for the factory amp if you have one.
