Hey guys, quick question....
I have the rear seat dvd, with an aftermarket HU. Is the ONLY way to get sounds from the DVD via wireless headphones? My son doesnt like the wireless ones, so I bought him a cheap set of headphones and plugged them right into the jack, but we cant get any sound.

the OEM unit is there, I may as well get some use out of it, ya know? Just wish they had some kind of hardwired audio output. It's really kind of stupid.

I wish someone would have answered this question. I am worried bout the same thing in my hoe. I have contemplated finding a splice to hook into the audio of the actual RES dvd unit per aux jacks and somehow getting a 3.5mm to connect to that splice so I can plug headphones in.
