Does look correct. Matches what I looked up at Rock Auto. Make sure you clean everything out when you have it apart.

What is bad about the spider gears?

It will work. The axle spline count is important and looks correct. If you can lift the vehicle, with the rear cover off, and let the fluid in the axle tubes drain out and get a look at that fluid to see if has any metal in it. Double check the axle seals to make sure is not leaking.

When you go to change the gears and if the cross pin retainer comes out broken at the end of threads, make sure to get back here before you start beating the crap out of everything.
