Rear end locker?

Today the roads were wet and my rear end has locked four times already. It's is a common thing for it to lock and like snap then unlock

So I went to a garage and he told me it's most likely the fluid needs to be changed out. I have 80 k so does that sound about right?

I drive a PPV with a locker daily. Anything over 20 or 30mph (can't remember) it won't lock. If it does, there's something broken. Afaik the fluid shouldn't affect how it when it locks up as that's a mechanical change. With an lsd I could see it, but the g80 uses centrifugal force and locks the two sides together. Are the roads wet/snowy? Are you on it hard?

The roads are really wet, this is the first time ever it happening to me. I'm not super ******* it. He told me the fluid is old that it would happen.
