Rear heat in 2001 tahoe not working

Hey Everyone,

I have a 2001 tahoe LS that only blows cold air from the rear. I could of swore it used to blow heat. On my rear controls all i have control of how how hard the fans blow or give my passengers in the rear control. On the unit is says ac controls. I had my mechanic look at it and he says that my tahoe has only rear ac and not rear heat. Does that make sense. Like i said i could of swore that i had rear heat from it. I also put a picture of my overhead console

Mine doesn't blow heat either. I have an 03 Yukon.

My 00 has heat and air. It also has the computer climate control. Could be mine is a LT.

You must not have heater core installed in rear. interesting. But I would imagine that there is some kind of ducts going to rear from front to supply heat, controlled by front. If this is the case, then there should be a blend door that may not be working properly, or that is obstructed?
