my Yukon started blowing hot air out of the rear hvac I took it apart and the blend door had snapped off I JB welded the door as I could not find anywhere that sold a new one. I’ve noticed the a/c heat blend actuator keeps turning back to heat when a/c is selected. After doing research online I have found videos on testing the actuators and have done all that actuators are all good leading me to the hvac control module. I ordered one online, I plugged the new control module in and nothing happens..... I plugged the old module back in and the blower starts like it should (where I have the controls set to) my question is does this new module need programming ?? Or faulty new module ?

if you bought an aftermarket one it may be bad. I replaced mine on my 06 With a GM part. It does not need programming, just a calibrate that you can allow it to do on its own or have it done with a TECH 2.
