rear lift gate or trunk door wont open

Hi fellow tahoe owners. Loving my 2006 tahoe and this is the first problem I get since I've had it. the key fob does not unlock the rear trunk door or the glass door.

Can someone help me out with what parts to replace. I currently taking the cover off from a youtube video I found.

I'm checking ebay and see lift gate actuator for $65 is this the part I need or not. The person in the youtube video seems to not be sure but said it could be another part.

Appreciate any help.

A few months ago mine would not lock. If you remove the inside trim panel you can see the actuator. In my case I could see it trying to move when I pushed lock/unlock on the remote. You can also lock and unlock it manually by moving the actuator arm with your finger.

I bought the Dorman brand from Amazon and replaced it in about 10-15 minutes. It works great now.
