Rear Seat Not Folding with Power Button

Has anyone had problems with a rear / second row seat not folding down with the button on the "C" pillar or in the trunk? On side is working, but not the other. Can fold manually with the lever, but not via the button.

Have not had that issue (yet, anyway). I guess it's not likely that there'd be one fuse for one side, and another for the other side... Hopefully someone with the same issue chimes in here for you.

Let us know if you have the dealer check it out and what they find.

Check the floor mat/aftermarket floot mat, sometimes they block the middle row seat from sliding forward.

I have also heard that the strut can wear out, and replacing it restores the seat folding functionality.

Can you hear it activating when you push the button?

I have the same issue because the release cable broke, but I haven't gotten around to replacing it. It releases by the lever on the side, but not by the button, and the cable tag on the back of the seat is gone. When you push the button, you can hear it activate, but it doesn't release.

Yes - 2022 Yukon XL Denali- 2nd row bench seat driver side, motor could be heard, but the seat would not fold automatically. Had to fold manually. Dealer had to replace the seat frame under warranty.
