I decided to do it the easy way. Also, I don't care how it looks, so that helps.

I cut a small hole in the bottom of the rubber boot on the door side. I didn't want to mess around with the plug connector in the pillar so I drilled a hole instead. From there, it was easy enough to run the wire along the door sill and up to the front. I may put a bit of RTV or similar in the grommet eventually.

I already have 4 Kicker 6.5" speakers installed. Next up will be the Kicker 47KEY200.4 amp and probably the Kenwood Excelon KMM-X705. Any opinions or tips about those are appreciated.

I've done a lot of searching and can't find a solution to connect the rear speakers. My speakers are connected to the wires in the rear doors. The radio connectors have the correct color wires for the rear speakers. Somewhere in between there's a problem.

The only option I can see is to run new wires. It doesn't look that easy, but I'm out of ideas. Has anyone found a better way? Thanks.
On the PPV's typically the rear speaker wires are cut inside behind the plastic pillar trim between the front & rear seats

Probably the Kenwood Excelon KMM-X705. I don't need a touchscreen, just something that will provide good sound from FM radio and Spotify.
Wow what kind of mounting kit fits that into our double DIN dashes? What does it look like installed into the bezel? Is there a custom bezel?

I have a KMM-X503 in my '04 and it's okay, sound-wise. But the buttons are too small for my tired old eyes and I'm thinking about putting a double din Kenwood Nav in its place.
