Hello all, I recently purchased a 2021 PPV and have noticed the rear suspension sits really low, as does pretty much all the tahoes. That being said, is there a suspension lift that addresses this issue? Or if anyone has found a solution?

I’m also curious about the 20s I wanna drop down to 18s anything I should look out for?

Thanks for the help!

the problem is the lower arm. not sure if a lifting kit would help.

Are you talking about the ride height being low, or the suspension components hanging down low?

The Suspension components being low… it’s kinda worrisome that they sit as low as they do especially with the picture above.

Yea, i guess if you buy an $80k rear independent suspension suv to go out rock crawling, then you will certainly have an issue.

So you suggest we treat it like a sedan. funny that there is a version called Z71/AT4 for off roading/not.

Armada / Expedition both have rear independent suspensions and have no problem rock crawling.

Im not suggesting that at all. Im making the statement that if you buy one, even the at4/z71, and use it to rock crawl, then yes you will be dragging the rear lower arms.

Why the hell gm engineered them so low is beyond me, but they did, and i highly doubt there will be any upgraded units in the near future…if ever.

So if you want to rock crawl with your $80k suv, maybe swing for the ford or nissan instead so you can gain an inch of clearance.
