rear trans seal? leaks after lowered

Well, went in for the kill and tried to do my seal today. No luck. My jack decided to shit the bed and dump all the fluid out in my driveway.
It sucks because it's really pissing tranny fluid out and making a mess under my truck and on my back window.
I'll be dropping by Sears to have my jack looked at or replaced. Another annoying thing is, the jack is fairly new.

Yes, Twin is the man for pointing that out. Its definately built up on the input shaft and needs to be polished off.

hmm good stuff, ill take mine out before i lower her down some more, but thanks for the heads up! did you buy a GM bushing and seal or just aftermarket? imean while im in there i guess ill replace em you know. the Ujoint was already done a little bit ago.

Are you going to sand it off and just build you way up to like 1000 grit? haha

No problem dude.
Nope bought one from AutoZone, I think it was made by Dorman.

I used a scotchbrite pad on an air grinder. Worked well

Bad news though, my seal is leaking again :( , I'm not very happy. Its a PITA to do with it being lowered. Looks like I'll be doing it again very soon.
