rear washer pump not working

I have replaced the pump earlier this year and it worked for a few months and now nothing again. It doesnt make any noise and doesnt work. Is there some other issues that would cause it to keep failing? I know about the rear wiper motor jumping on cold start and when you turn the fog lights on. Could that be the issue? Can anyone provide some insight on this? TIA.
