Link is pending approval from mods but this is what mine look like. Not Terrible fitment..had to open up the two mounting holes on top. But the fit is good. My painter did a great job. Just gotta buff out all the brake dust from the doors and it'll be mint.

Thanks I would go for the textured or bolt on looking ones then. The smooth ones IMO would look weird not being painted.

Must be. I would just search on Ebay for your year yukon fender flares.

I can get to the backside easily by taking off the wheelwell liner, I would treat that too.

The backside in the wheel well is a separate piece of metal. There's no way of easily getting to the back of the outer panel but you might be able to get behind it taking off the panels inside the cargo area to at least get some oil in there to slow it down.

Adding fender flares is a northern thing to do to hide rust. Any truck with them they were either added to hide rust or they caused it.

My truck had a small rust hole when i bought it and it bothers me enough that I want to get it fixed. I think fixing it right should stop it from happening again because they should treat inside that area.

According to a Chevy dealership body shop they won't repair that area but replace the whole quarter panel for the low low cost of $10-12k....lol

My daughter had the best idea. The Denali has it bad on both rear fenders. She got clipped in the rear by a young girl running a red light. Insurance covered the full repair, zero deductible. Good as new. Now I told her to do the other side.

Despite living in the rust belt its whole life, the Suburban shows zero body rust. Even the frame is still mostly black. My secret? It's spent its last 12 years parked in a warm (attached) garage.
