This weekend my rear window stopped working. It went down all the way once. After I put it up and tried to go back down again, it only went about an inch and then ade some grinding noise.

Is it possible that it has fallen off the track? Motor problem? How do I remove the door panel to access the window?

Thanks in advance....

Have you noticed the window going up/down slower than it should? Most likely the motor is shot if so. Hard to say really but to get the door off just make sure you get out any screws you can find and there will be plastic retainers around the edge on the backside of the panel. Just be careful and take your time removing it although it will take some force. Just have to use you judgement and figure out if you hit a snag it its a stubborn retainer or a screw you may have missed.

On a side note though if its out of track you should be able to grab the window and be able to move it around some. If not then its most likely the motor.
