Resolved - Rear wiper arm quit - help with removal

Title says it all


This is what is left - which I believe to be part of the old wiper assembly. Do I need to get the nut thing off to get to the splines to install the new wiper? 2013 Yukon XL if that matters

Yes. If you don’t have a puller that fits/works, I’d take a dremel and cut the length of the “nut” on 180° from each other so you can remove it.

HUUUGE! Ended up using an oscillating multitool with a metal blade and some patience not to knick the threads. Worked wonders, thanks for the recommendation!
