Don't use a cheap wiper blade, as it appears that you need more flexibility in the blade support. Try an OEM wiper blade, and see if you get full coverage.
If you still have the issue, then perhaps your wiper arm spring is aging/stretching and not applying enough force on the wiper blade to keep in in contact with the glass.
