I was hoping to power my dashcam off of the rearview mirror, but haven't been able to find an adapter for GM. Something like in the pic. I'd rather not run a wire down the A pillar. Any ideas?

There don't appear to be many that work for our beloved chariots... I'm in the process of trying to decide the best route for my own install (2020 Tahoe LT).

There are a number of other threads on here that address the various ways you can accomplish this, including ones that don't require running wiring beyond the top/center area of the windshield (ie stealing power from the rearview mirror, overhead console controls, etc.)

When I decide what to do with mine, I'll post back here with my solution(s) and results...

I am currently installing this harness and have tested it to ensure it works perfectly. It works.

The problem I am having is getting it into the enclosure to shut everything back up. Installation would be very easy if it weren’t for the size and bulk of the harness.
