Well, insurance sent out an independent appraiser a month ago. Ended up getting it fixed, with no salvage title. Now it looks like this. None of the front end lights are staying, but they had to put back the ones I had before, and they couldn't find the corners. These are ugly IMO, but if you want them, they're for sale.

Sorry for cell phone pics. I'll get better ones tomorrow.

I tried to get them to put different lights in, but the shop was confused, even though I sent them direct links. Oh well, I'm still happy. The paint and body work is incredible, that's all that matters. I can probably sell the lights on it (with the cheap HID ballasts that came with them), and buy these for less. These were the ones I wanted.

I'm going to go for a w/t bumper to get painted, so it looks like a Z71 or tahoe limited type truck, just GMC version. Then I'm eventually going to get the antenna shaved off the fender, and that should be it for the exterior, aside from little things like tail lights or head lights.

Thanks man, it's definitely been a process, and that 3 weeks in the shop felt like forever. Do you have any upcoming plans for the limited?

Ppppuuuussshhhh.... My baby (LIMITED) just barely made the cut... I was almost forced 2 sell her but shes gonna stay... But I've got a stockpile of parts waiting 2 go in... 411 swap is gonna get done this weekend, I just gotta pile the right parts and put those in first... Tax time I'll b buying that upgraded spider injector, gasket set, O2 sensors all 4, then hydroboost parts, then hopefully ill b done... But we all know how that goes...
