Oh yeah i know LAPD Does support LoJack, I'm kinda leaning towards the Clifford MATRIX 70.7X alarm with remote start or the new Viper 5902 Responder

well my truck has on-star, i know that doesn't work worth for shit speaking from my past experience. I guess my only bet would go into a local sound shop and see for myself what features each alarm has...

has anyone actually used that viper alarm with the iphone app? i was just about to start looking for reviews on it cause i'm about ready to get an alarm for mine too

so did a little research on the viper alarm and apparently i have to get a immobilizer for the key so it could auto start since my tahoe key has a chip on it..
also the 5902 & the 5701 are the same thing except for the remote control 5902 has a LCD remote vs A analog remote on the 5701 Decisions decisions

actually not painted did get them from eBay over 3 years ago and last time I've looked they discontinued them. I think mine look more enhance cause im also using 3K HID Fogs here are a few pics

I have viper 5901 with proximity sensor, tilt sensor, glass break sensor, lcd remote, remote start. I like it. so far so good. The proximity sensor is a must in my opinion. You can change the sensitivity. The sound it makes for lock and unlock is tight as well.

is it true that viper doesn't have a warranty if you don't have a licensed vendor install it?

im guessing your talking about the smart start? my wife and i both got ours at best buy. no one else carries them. and we didnt have them install them, even though the price includes installation an activation. it is only hooking up power and ground and plugging a harness into the alarm brain. so i installed them, and went to best buy and had them activate. after bugging them on the second one they gave me the login and password to activate them.
