Hi all,
I was out shopping yesterday and run into another '07 Yukon Denali in the parking lot (I had to look) and noticed it has a receiver cover on the back where the hitch should be. Mine is currently open with some surface rust (need to paint) but I was curious if when the Yukon came out of the factory if it came with a cover for the receiver area? I bought mine used and never thought twice about it until yesterday.

Thanks.

My '09 LTZ came with a painted cover. Not sure when they first started coming with covers, but I know that they (or some models) do.

07+ Denali's/Escalade's and 09+ Tahoe LTZ's come with the escalade bumper and the hitch cover.

If you have a normal Yukon the hitch cover is way different then if you have a Denali so make sure you get the right one :Handshake:

Thanks for the replies. I have a '07 Denali and the receiver/hitch is currently as follows in the pic.

Make sure if you have a Denali/Esky/Tahoe LTZ Bumper, to get the one with the two extra tabs to keep it secure. They redesigned it after a bunch of the earlier models were falling off the vehicle.

When you say "two extra tabs", are you talking about the top of the cover or the bottom?

The cover on my Denali has 4 tabs across the top that slide upward into the bumper and 2 quarter turn locks that secure the bottom. Two or three times we have finished a 100 mile road trip to find the cover has come loose at the top and is hanging by the 2 bottom locks. The Denali was built 12/06, so I assume it has the original design.

My cousins fell off but he ended up finding it laying on the side of the road. I didn't know it was a huge problem lol
