My audiobahn awes12p's have started going bad, with corrosion starting on the inside of the magnet and scrapping up the inside of the voice coils. I'm planning on replacing them in the next few months with brand new subs, but to be able to use my existing amp i'll need them to be dual 4 ohm vc so i can wire them down to 1 ohm, and they will also need to have an rms between 1100 and 1200 watts (1200 preferred) with a peak of 2400 watts max. I'm open to any recommendations as i want these subs for sound quality and punchy bass as opposed to pure spl. thanks in advance :)

Will those digital designs 3512 work well with my amp? 1200rms but only 2400 peak power sub, I know the 612s would require a smaller amp. Any specific model on the polks?

You could do either sub with your amp.

Those audiobahns were well built for the price back in the day but they are no match in quality to digital designs. You should measure your amps true output at 1ohm at 13 ish volts before you count them out. DD is what almost everyone uses at spl sound offs that pays for their own stuff and dosent have a gifted setup.
