When you are running such low impedance at peak power you have to really be supplying true volts to get what spec says. Best if you test it. No need to over spend on subs if there is no need to.

I have a volt meter in line with capacitor and amp, running 14.08 nominal 13.5 at lowest under load

Stopping to think about I'm wondering how to go about measuring what the actual power output to the subs would be, specs state for this amp that bridged 1 ohm should output 2400rms 4800 peak, however if that's the case and Watts = Amps x Volts, then 2400watts should draw 171 amps which should pop the 4 40 amp fuses. Unless I'm mistaking something with the input being dc and the output being ac (I think)

I've decided on a set of the dd 3515s and a box. A dealer here is willing to sell the shop set and box for 600
