2010 4 WD Tahoe LT 132 K Miles
Plan to keep it 70K miles more

In addition to all regular maintenance, have proactively replaced components ahead of failure, such as water pump, steering pump, struts, belts, cooling system hoses.

Any thoughts on what should I consider replacing ahead of possible failure?
Alternator? Fuel Pump? Starter?

Not an expert, help with comments welcome.

REASON: Travel often across states, country. Want to prevent failures as much as possible and within economic logic.

How about suspension or steering components? How's she ride?

Have you serviced the trans or diffs

At 130 k it's impossible to guess what might go out but I can say these rigs can easily go 200k with nothing more than routine maintenance like fluid and belt changes. Other than that it would be a wild guess. You have a better chance of your trans going out before the power steering pump for instance but either might last to 250 k.

I get the need to be proactive.. but as already noted.. it is crap shoot. I would not toss money on parts that have not failed. If it aint' broke dont fix it!

To me, preventative maintenance would just be replacing ALL fluids (engine oil, tranny, diffs, transfer case, coolant, brake, etc.) in conjunction with the owners manual.

Also, check the brakes when you get it serviced. Replace belts when they start to crack a bit.

I would save my money on stuff like alternator and starter. If/when they go out, these items can be changed at any shop quickly.

This is just my opinion.
