Recovery Gear

Ordered some basic recovery gear to get me started exploring trails a bit more. What do you guys think?

It's a good start. Are you going to mount it to a rack or anything?

Probably not. I think I'm going to just keep the jack in the garage unless I'm going on trails. The flat fix kit will stay in the truck though.

High lift jack on a yukon is fairly pointless man. Nowhere to really attach it to even with wheel claws. I 4x4d almost every inch of australia with just a ****** strap, sand boards a compressor and a shovel...thats really all you need.

Those rubber coated hooks are designed to hook in to the opening on your rims for trucks that don't have jack points like a jeep would. So as long as you have that it works very well. I did a bunch of research on this before I bought the jack.

Chad, im fully aware of your exact jack setup, wait til you try that setup in the mud for real. Those hooks hardly work on stock wheels and the jack while using those is prone to tipping in towards the truck and damaging panels....... its a fine jack but as a real world two continent offroad veteran with my 04 yukon , id of spent the money elsewhere. Just my. 02 so i hope i didnt offend. Cool jack.
