Redneck Escalade Build/Daily

I am new to this forum and wanted to start my build from the beginning as I've only had it for a couple months. Let me start out with my old car. I had a 5 speed 2015 Nissan Versa and I unfortunately totaled it. That day I had just traded my 1985 F-250 for a 250cc 2 stroke Husqvarna dirt bike. So i was going to make the dirt bike road legal here in Tennessee. I was on craigslist looking for trucks and I saw this Escalade I just fell in love with. It was 5 hours away, but my dad took me up there to buy it. I paid for it myself as well as every upgrade. She was $4800 cash for an '02 with 162,000 miles on it. There was a Service Stability System light when I bought it and it is still on to this day. Another problem is the spare tire had been stolen and a back window didn't match the other because it had been broken into. Regardless it is still a nice vehicle. Here is pics of everything so far.







So this is where my build begins.........


First thing I bought, actually before I even bought the Escalade, was some subs!

I drove 5 hours to get this thing and as soon as I got it back home, I went and chopped off the muffler. That 6.0L sounds so good with just cats although I'm eventually going to dual it out. The next day I went to emissions and got tags. I failed emissions because of an O2 sensor becuase the guy I bought it from didn't have a county with marta.







This picture below is after I had my subs installed and this is the middle mirror shaking in circles to the bass. 3 x 12" kickers enclosed (I wish it was ported) with a 3400 watt 1 ohm boss amp and I'm running true AWG 0 gauge wire

Next I wanted some wheel well lights. And I am a broke college student so this is what I did
. I took some 3/8 pvc pipe like material and cut them into 3 foot sections. 4 of them(1 for every wheel well) Then I bought 40 one foot sections of green led light strips. I tapes them to the pvc and wired them together. I wired them to a switch in the front and screwed them into my wheel wells.

Nextt, I thought it was time for a train horn

Wheel well leds look awesone! I'm gonna be doing a similar idea soon. White leds mounted under my running boards to be tied into my side puddle lights so when I unlock my truck at night it'll light up. And then maybe some undercarriage or wheel lighting. But I have to research what I can get away with here in southern California in that regard. Stupid highway patrol will ticket for anything and everything haha.

This is why I should not read all these posts. I thought I was almost done with mods. I never thought of led lights under the running boards connected to the puddle lights......
