remote contro fob help!!!

Just received 2 remote fobs for my 04 tahoe but can't seem to program them I followed the instructions several times and nothing......but when I program the remote I already have it programs no problem ........has n e one had this issues b4? How can I get to program my 2 remote fobs? Any tricks that will get the job done? Thanks

Are you sure they are the correct fobs for your vehicle? Same part numbers on the back as your current one?


If your current one works, why are you getting new ones? For the time being, you can swap the guts from your old one into a new one if you're just swapping it out for cosmetic reasons.

When I boughht my truck it only came with one key and one remote but need another fob for my wife so it made more sense to get 2 from ebay rather than one figure I had an extra one in case Iost it.........but can't get the new ones to work and the back of the new ones match exactly to the one that came when I purchased the truck

I found the problem since there new remote fobs insteard of waiting for the normal 30 seconds to program I had to wait about 3 to 5 minutes to finally get them program
