2021 Tahoe - I am getting the "Remote Left in Vehicle" message when no remote is left in vehicle. I have experimented using one key taking it far away and then introducing the other, both keys in the car, turning off the message in settings, etc. Nothing seems to work. Any idea? I found threads for pre 2021, but do not see to address this. I don't know where the fix is in the manual. There is information about it at 14, 130 and 131 in the 2021 manual, but no fixes. Thanks for any suggestions.

Check the remote battery, and replace with a fresh one. That’s the only thing I can think about.

You also might want to disconnect the negative battery cable for a few minutes (some say 10 minutes) and reconnect. That re-boots the computer systems associated with just about everything!

Thank you for the advice. I will reset by disconnectig the neg battery terminal and I'll replace the remote batteries.

Interesting, but the problem just went away on its own. For a while, it was doing funny things like automatic function for the headlights/running lights was leaving the lights on in the interior of the car. That stopped too.

Digital gremlins.
