Remote recognizes truck but won't unlock ??

Hopefully there is a simple programming for for this...

When I press the lock or unlock button on the remote, the lights flash, so I know that it is communicating with the Tahoe (2001), but it wont do anything more than that.

When I pressed lock on the remote, it would lock the locks and then if I pressed it a second time, it would honk the horn.

And when I pressed unlock, it would unlock the locks.

Now, all I get is the corner lights flashing once when I press the lock ot unlock button on the remote.

So, it is communicating with the Tahoe, but not locking or unlocking.

Any ideas??

Its getting frustrating always having to use the conventional key in the door.

Also, the lock/unlock buttons still work perfectly in the vehicle. Button on the passenger door, driver door and tailgate. All open all the locks when used.

Anybody? Its getting really old unlocking with the regular key...

Sounds like your remote control module is faulty. It's receiving the signals from the remote but it's not outputting a signal to the door locks.
