...nice CEL upon starting her up this morning.

Local Service Center that I goto earliest is 11.27 for Service. Going there today for them to @least pull the codes so I have a better understanding what im up against.

I bet it needs a new battery. I just did the battery in my 2021. Had a the original AC delco battery from 4/8/2020.

CEL was reset. Was a code related to the MAF...so its apparently time to clean/replace my S&B intake. Have a cleanable version arriving on Saturday.

Good to hear it was not a major issue.

Does your CAI use a dry or oiled filter? I have had the CEL come on with prior vehicles when I used an oiled filter, they coat the MAF in oil residue and you need to clean it. If so, you might need to clean the throttle body too, they can also get oily and then dirty and throw a code too (I recommend it anyways, it's easy to do, but look up a good video first). I no longer use oiled filters because they cause issues like that.

So circling back on this CEL, as it would come on/off from time to time. Dropped it off and they replaced that MAF....3 days later the CEL returned. Now they are saying that it is due to my Intake even though it was installed on 02.18.2013 (https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/s-b-intake.131738/post-1756935) #DataNeverLies.

So now I have to put the stock box back on to "play the game" to get the CEL to return. As per GMC, they are not to do anything until the stock box is back on. #AssClowns.

because air & fuel & throttle directly correlate to shifting. It's is one of the first things you want to check if you are having shifting problems.
the MAF can cause just about any code in the book. The newer trucks are more sensitive to air ratio
