Is there a good plug and play setup for our NBS Yukon's
There are so many on the market it's hard to tell what is junk and what is good quality.

Can you retain the OEM security and key fob style.

Any thoughts are helpful.

Factory security? Bad news, there is none. Your FOB is keyless entry, nothing more.

There are kits that use the factory key fob and just use the signals of both lock/unlock key presses simultaneously to start the vehicle. You can find them on amazon/ebay.

I cannot speak for the quality myself but that's what reviews are for. ;)

Are you just looking for a replacement for a lost or broken one that already has remote start. I bought 2 off of Ebay for like $20 that work perfectly. They look exactly like the original one.

A large portion of the aftermarket remote starts and alarms are made by directed anyway.

Anything directed, ie... cilfford, avital, viper they are all good quality. Mine came with avital add-on remote start and it hasn't let me down yet. The only pia is having an additional key fob to use it.

sent from my Crifftastic $3

You'll probably want to have someone install it just because you'll need either a dball or an flcan programmed to bypass the immobilizer.
