Remote transmission filter

Let me start by apologizing if this has been covered.
I tried a search, but couldn't seem to get it to work right.

Does anyone here have a remote mounted filter for their trans? If so which brand and what filter do you run?

I am thinking about it for the Tahoe, and definitely for the Silverado since it just got a reman 60e put in. I just am not sure which one to get, or exactly where to mount it.

I'm running a magnefine on mine. It's mounted between the radiator pass through and external trans cooler. Even with some fairly neurotic fluid change intervals and maintenance, it still captured a small amount of particles.

I was going to put a finer 7 micron filter on given my success with this but covid threw a wrench in my plans so meh

So it's an inline small type? I didnt see a magnefine spin on style. Does it have to be replaced every time, or is it able to be opened and cleaned?
