My OEM remote ran through 3 batteries in about 3 weeks so I bought a new remote from eBay. Worked great for about 2-3 weeks (a little longer than the OEM one) and now it won't lock or unlock the doors either.
When they start to go out, range is really bad 1-2 times I unlock it, then it completely quits working. New batteries fix it for a week or two.
Is there any way to avoid this issue? We've never had this issue in our 03 Denali, only the 04 Tahoe.
