Sounds like perfect timing for me... what are you doing with your old bumper?

Well, I'm not sure yet ... the new one is out for painting, in-laws are in town next week, so I'll probably swap them in about ten days.

The Hybrid cover I have is actually rather nice, the only thing I didn't like about it was that there's no hitch cover for it and it doesn't have the chrome molding. I actually taped a 3M chrome trim over the pad but that'll come off with a hairdryer. Here's how it looks like from a few months ago when the whole truck was stock ... you're welcome to swing by and take a look at it if you want.

I am guessing buying yours and putting it on will be faster and cheaper than finding a body shop to remove mine, paint the chrome strip, and put mine back on.

Also, I am assuming the Hybrid bumper is the same as the regular LT bumper - anyone know????

Actually M, it'll be a lot simpler and cheaper for you to get the molding strip painted black.

Nope, slightly different bumper (lighter and more aerodynamic for fuel efficiency), hence why I can't use the regular tahoe's hitch cover.

It's easier to trade bumpers than, say, throw some black vinyl wrap on it, or tape off the surrounding areas and hit the strip with some paint??

I currently have the black vinyl wrap on there.

I think painting the strip or swapping bumpers is about the same effort.

I am trying to black out the whole vehicle, its a Black LTZ, debadged.

While I am at it, anyone know the fair price for the following:

'11 LTZ mouldings (4 pieces)
'11 LTZ chrome grille (full / not insert) upper w/ gold bowtie
'11 LTZ chrome grille (full / not insert) lower (larger one)
'11 LTZ chrome tow hooks (2) *very heavy (shipping warning)
'11 LTZ chrome mirror covers (2)
'11 LTZ chrome door handles (4)

I am in MD.. I would trade with you!!

Where are you in MD - does yours have back up sensors and are you still willing to trade?

Does anyone know for sure if the 07 will swap with the '11 one for one??

Thanks in advance,

Door Moldings

I know this thread is a little old but I am interested in the door moldings with the chrome strip. Let me know if anyone has available black door moldings with the chrome strip they are interested in selling.
