I have been thinking about doing this for a while and finally did it today. It took about 10 min. I think it looks good and makes the truck look higher. I don't know how long it will stay like this because my fiance claims she needs the steps because she is too short. I haven't even tried to get in it yet with them off LOL.

I have CCM leveling kit with 33" nitto terra graplers

Robbie, it doesn't bolt to the frame. It actually bolts to the body where its all the metal meets at the bottom. Also there are only 4 horizontal bolts on each side and I put them back it to try to keep water out. There are holes for water to drain anyway but I will prob be putting them back on soon anyway.

I know it doesn't bolt to it, I was referring to the removal of the boards showing more of your frame. Looks awkward to me. Clean ride, may e get the retractable boards??

Definitely looks higher but I'm with Robbie in keeping them on. My reason is, though, because now both the front and rear bumper come down lower than your rockers and it just looks like there's a void there when viewing from the side.

I would love to have a pair but I can't afford it right now. I'm getting married in 5 months and need to save as much as I can. Can a register them as a wedding present somewhere?

My fiance is going to be pissed that I took them off. She always tells me she needs them so I guess we will see if that is true!

Dear Mr. White07Tahoe,

I write to you today in an effort to reassure you that there will be plenty of opportunities for soul crushing compromise once you are married.

As such, I beg you to style thy ride to your taste up and until the fateful day.

Kind regards.
