Removing ink mark

I've got a very minor pen mark on my center console what's the best way to go about getting it off? Googled it there's a few different things to try looking for a method others have used so I don't risk damaging it

Get a steam cleaner, if you don't have one spend $100 and you'll use it for everything

Rubbing alcohol removes sharpie marks. What kind of pen?

Hairspray will remove some ink stains. Whatever you try, test a small inconspicuous area first. You don't want to make it worse
