Removing the driver's seat question?

Hey everyone.

I just got my new heated seat pad and new leather seat cushion delivered today.

In order to fit this in nice and proper, I want to remove the driver's seat to install.

How do I remove the driver's seat?

I moved the seat all the forward and back and only see 2 star shaped bolts.nuts on the outside track. cant see anything on the inside track.

Any help would be appreciated.

2 star shaped bolts in the back and 2 in the front
they are different sized

I don't know what tool to use for them so I found a socket that fit and used a breaker bar

watch out though you are about to find some nasty shit under those seats!! haha

Cool but I only see 1 in the back and 1 in the front both on the same side

on the inner side there should be some plastic caps that pop off those bolts
front and back inner bolts

Look at the four pics below to help you out. If I remember correctly, when I did my seat mod I had to use 15mm (fronts) and 7/16 (rears) sockets. I used my 1/2" drive ratchet and it was sufficient. The other two starred sockets/bolts that hold down the inner rail are covered with trim. The first pic shows the plastic trim that has to be popped off (toward the door), and the fourth picture shows the other inner rear bolt that was hidden under the plastic trim (you can see the tan/neutral trim on the right side of the pic on the carpet).

I used E-torx sockets from harbor freight.
I didn't full remove them from the truck though.
I just did it to clean under there.

11 mm and i think 15mm will take them out too!

Thanks for the help, guys! 7/16" and 15mm worked perfect for me. The only glitch for me was that for the front seats, the bolt was sticking too far through the nut. Luckily I was able to get enough of a grip with the wrench by seating the socket on the nut and partially engaging the wrench. Not sure if that makes sense to you. Deep sockets would have worked if I had them in those sizes.
