And another thiugh, was in an out if my car all afternoon as I took some time away from the slopes to detail for some of my very loyal clients. And the new foam cushion in my drivers seat made a world of a difference. My seat is even more comfortable than it was before. Loving it! And got him all shined up this afternoon. Quick after wash pic!

So you know how much better you could see when reversing when you went from stock tails to your new ones?
Get a set of these and put them in your reverse bulbs and it will be like that again!

They are like having a set of aux backup lights on the back of your truck, but everything looks stock.
I highly recommend them! (and several other members here have them in their trucks)

Are these the JDM Astar 1200 lumen 3157 LED bulbs?

@W8TVI
Yes they are.
From the sounds of the reviews on Amazon, they will die an early death if you use them as DRLs (from the built up heat), but for low duty cycle applications like reverse lights, they are great!

I've had mine since the beginning of January, and have had no trouble yet.

Hey @W8TVI didn't I see you getting all PO'd for someone jacking your build thread? Yet here you are doing it to someone else? I mean I don't mean to offend you but come on! How did we even get to reverse light LED bulbs?

But I'm not asking a question, I'm trying to get @Bigbeardenali1992 to spend more money on his truck! :Big Laugh:
But really, they make a big difference on how well you can see backing up, and they are a plug-and-play upgrade.

Any 3157 bulb will die a young death in the drl plug, whether halogen or led.

Have to use the proper bulb which is 4114L and it will last forever.

We really need to sticky a thread for specific drl bulb applications lol

I'm using these 10W JDM ASTARs in my DRLs. I guess I'll see how long they last...
