I see no less than 4 load resistors in that kit, and since we all know you don't need them for led reverse bulbs, what are they for? I know you need them for the brake lights so cruise will work but why 2 for each tail light?

Its for the turn signals, the turn signals will hyper flash becuz it thinks they are burnt out becuz they are not pulling enough juice. I think the resistor on the brake light for the cruise is only like a pre-02 thing also.

Then how come every one said when they did leds that they needed resistors.
On the brake light bulbs so cruise will work. But I didn't need any for hyperflashing on the turn signals which are sometimes needed. But never for reverse lights.

No it was just 2. The 2 resistors on each are part of one assembly for each side. The tails themselves have resistors built in.

Not gonna sell that puppy! Haha it took slot of work to get that there and right it'd staying! Haha. Where would I find a shop that would vinyl that? I don't even know where to look for that! Lol
Usually stereo and ot tint shops. Or commercial sign shops. They usually charge $75-100 for a set of tails. So don't let them rob you. I know cali is vheap, so 40 is good, 50 fair, I wouldn't pay more than 60 tho. They can't use the excuse of wrapping hard curves and dips with the 3rd like they can with headlights and tails

A lot of post firing off right now lol. Id wrap the 3rd myself cant be too hard and vinyl is fairly cheap so u can try and try again. And there are 4 total resistors on those, they are for the turn signals.

Interesting thought. I will have to look into that now haha. On the other topic now I feel dumb for buying the load resistors for my led reverses.

Dont sweat it man, shit happens, u live and u learn. I was just trying to save u a couple bucks and didn't want u to melt anything with those resistors becuz they get really hot when functioning. Even though they probably wont get hot on the reverse bulb but better safe than sorry especially if they are not needed.

Good to know! I'll pull them in the morning and see what happens. Didnt think about cruise controlled. Kinda worried abo it having issues with that though now. But the new tails have resistors built in so should I be worried?
