Repairing torn/cracked leather

I stitched mine up with some thread. So far so good. But it was hard to do without going into foam a bit. I agree, spending near 200$ to replace a seat cushion on a used car nearing 10yrs is tough choice. I can't justify it. But if your ride is super nice and you got the cash, best way to go.

I had thought about pulling seat cover and parching it from behind with some fabric. This is probably the best way to go. Use a spread on rubber type glue, let dry, then apply. But seats will still look worn, just not ripped.

I plan to have my worn leather panels replaced @ an upholsterer if I ever finish with the suspension/fluids/trans/brakes/electrical gremlins.
