I just replaced the driver side switch control module with a Standard Motor Products DWS394 Driver-Side Power Window Switch (with Power Folding Side-Mirrors and Adjustable Pedals. ) Aside from the fact that the driver's window is still inoperable, now the drivers mirror has to be adjusted every time, the driver 1-2 memory no longer works, and the pedal adjustment doesn't work. I don't really need the driver memory or the pedal controls but IMO, they should work as designed. I'll need to check the driver's side window motor and replace that as needed. My question is - has anyone used this switch module before?

Essentially, I want to know if anyone has similar experience, suggestions and if I should send it back to Amazon while I still can.

The module probably needs to be programmed (flashed) to the RPO options on your truck. Do the DWS394 instructions say that it doesn't require programming?

What truck, year, make, model?

Likely need a Tech 2 to program. Where do you call home?

Thanks for the response. I just saw it. The mirror problem solved itself. Still have no Driver 1-2 function or pedal adjustment. There was nothing in the module instructions about reprogramming. I'm in north Florida.

Based on the part number you must have a 2003-2006 model (you didn't say, and the earlier ones are different).

There is a calibration (program) for the driver's door switch in TIS2000 so I would think the switch would come pre-programmed, or require local programming. At this point you may want to contact the manufacturer of the switch you bought and ask about that.
