I have 99' Yukon and just replaced the power brake booster. Now I can not shift the tansmission out of park. I have not fully bleed the brakes yet, I ran out of time this eveing. my questions is since i have not fully bleed the brakes is this causing me not to shift out of park or do you think there is something else going on? any advice and direction would be appricaited.

Welcome to the forum...
Brakes are not my forte but I would check the simple things first. Check your fuses and see if your brake lights are coming on when you put your foot on the brake. If the lights are not coming on check the brake light switch. These trucks will not come out of park if the switch is not working. I am not sure if bleeding the brakes makes a difference.

Brake switch +eleventy. I do believe there's a how-to on bypassing it here, if you get desperate. If not, ask and you shall receive. Welcome to the forum. :)

Sounds good. After I slept on it, that was my next thought. The brake lights were coming on but I'll still check the brake switch and fuse this eveninig and will keep you posted.

I just changed my brake booster and my tahoe wouldn't shift out of park. I had broke the clip off the pin on the pedal. I got a new one from a gm dealership. That ended up being all I had to do because apparently that clip keep the switch in the right spot to shift out of park. Thought this might help somebody...
