Replacing my 3 12w1v3 with 3 P3s

Im getting them on a super low so i figured why not... so i guess im shopping for a 1000w now... its just the trunk of the jag.. and its paired with 10 sets of Focal 6.5 polyglass... so im sure itll make it a lil more noise

Putting them back in the same jl wedge box my 12w1s are in now.. the 12w1s are actually getting a lil wrong airspace ..... the box will actually be more of a sealed airspace for 12p2s.. but im getting the p3s.. so they will just be SUPER tight and punchy

If you dont mind me asking. How much are you paying for your P3? The reason why I am asking is because I am looking for 6 P3D412. I can find them for $130ea shipped but is there anywhere else cheaper and they have to be new. I have a Custom Fiberglass box built that is at least one inch thick. My friend is a installer and he made the box now he is getting rid of it but i need to find the P3D412 ASAP cheap so I can buy it. He sold his P3D412 because they were beat. I currently have 2 Orion HCCA 12 the new model with a MTX TA92001. The amp is great it is pushing 3750 watts RMS w/ 100 farad and a 50 farad rockford caps. So I do have the power but now I am looking for P3D412 subs. Any ideas or contacts cheaper than $130 shipped ea

mine are coming out of a demo truck that my dude built as a show of how he wanted to do this setup.. well now the truck is disassembled.. so im scooping the subs from him... they are new.. but (ex)mounted... im not sure what theyll end up costing.. nothing? shipping? trade? who knows.. i ahve some amps sitting at his house i forgot all about.. maybe we will just swap

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLl ill agree with with you ... to a point.. yea.. the box is everything.. UNTIL.. it comes to putting one in the trunk of a jaguar and wanting to still carry groceries in it....

I think the box is 1.2 cu per sub maybe 1.1 which is right for a 12w3 in a sealed....and im 99% sure the box was built for w3s

looks like .75 to 1.25 cf.... and thats accounting for speaker displacement.. and the P3 has a bigger mag and case than the 12w1 does... so if the 12w1 i have now is running 1.1 then the 12p3 will be more like .8-1.0

i THINK i have aq 1000X1 jl in jax i can run it off of...

I have two p3's in a dual slotted box right now. The air sapce on each side is 1.42. The box is tuned around 38.5 to 39.5 hertz. But those things will hit tighter in a sealed box. It will sound real good. I hit like 127 db with a shit amp. If you have a good amp those things will hit hard.
