i'm finding it hard to locate the parts, at least in descent condition, i even called nordstrom auto and they said people are calling all the time for the same parts i called for.
Maybe im missing something or looking in the wrong places...

Not an OEM piece and based on a few reviews it looks like the qaulity may not be up to par.

unfortunately i saw that too, oh well...it looked good though.

Any thoughts on the logistics of replacing the rear step pad...i'm learning that i would have to replace almost everything back there, bumper, step pad, chrome,(adding), re-attach the backup sensors/camera. Not to mention the tow bar/package looks to also be in the way.

Wish i could find an easier way...

I just wanted to add that the wood grain does match the Tahoe OEM for the 2011 Yukon SLT. I just got my radio bezel and cup holder put in. The wood is a exact match.
Adding those wood grain pieces really makes a difference in appearance.
Part number 25887440 is for instrument bezel.
Part Number: 20951473 is for the cup holder insert.
Again, these GM OEM parts are a exact match for the 2011 Yukon. I'm going to assume that the wood grain is the same for all 2007-2014 Yukons, but I can't be certain.

thanks nathan, i appreciate all the insight and forum links. This is too bad, i'm going to assume a new bumper, step pad, and chrome will cost more than i was planning. Plus i was looking under the truck and the tow bar really seems to be in the way to access the middle sensors so changing a bumper may be more difficult too.

I saw someone who asked and was told you could paint it??? Did i misunderstand something?

I guess i'll look for chrome running boards and esky side step pads,....maybe the esky/denali chrome roof racks but they seem expensive

I searched online for all the parts used and ended up spending $500 when I did this mod on my 08 Tahoe LTZ. Very affordable if you use CL and eBay. The dealer will charge twice as much though.
