Hahaha......good catch! I think if I lubed up MY girl that way, I'd never be to hang on! It would be slip and slide central, not to mention some pulled muscles, etc. LOL
I'm thinking we'd also be greatful if you didn't explain what the black smears were...

I just replaced my front shocks with Bilsteins. The driver side LOWER shock mount.... The bolt to secure the shock, goes through a rubber bushing. The bushing is worn out. How the heck is that bushing replaced???

I couldn't agree more! I would love to live in an area where a vehicle would wear out vs rust out. That's why both of my girls are slathered with fluid film in every crevasse, panel, frame, you name it! It DOES work, but I tend to come out with black smears in odd places after rolling around under them
LOL
I stand by fluid film. Stuff is great
