Replacing Transfer Case in 99 Denali

Happy New Year All!!

I have needed a new TC in my 99Denali with 236k on the clock for awhile now. I finally scored a newer Jasper np246 from a guy on CL for $200!! While I have it at the shop getting fixed are there any other repairs that I could/should have done where I might be able to save a bit on labor since they are already taking the tc out? The drivetrain is pretty much stock as I haven't done much to it.

there was the known pump rub issue that should be fixed.among the repair parts did include using a new case half if it was already damaged or a smaller case saver kit if it is still good. read the whole page: http://www.drivetrain.com/parts_catalog/transfer_case_replacements_and_parts/np246.html

Just as an update. I purchased the gently used jasper TC from a guy on CL for $200. Has it installed for another $300 and she's as good as new!!! Nice and quiet and the 4wd works as it should!! Thanks for the help folks!!
